Stiltzkin’s bargain-bin curse shop
A low-cost, English-only list that makes Stiltzkin’s tap ability the engine: hand over cursed artifacts and awkward permanents, get paid a card, then turn the extra cards into a wide token board. This is a casual, table-politics deck—not a disguised pile of expensive white staples.
How to run the shop
Play Stiltzkin on turn one. Once he is untapped, make the opponent who is least able to absorb the permanent take it: Steel Golem closes off creature spells, the Masticores demand cards, Torture Chamber and Voodoo Doll turn time into pain, and the Jinxed objects demand an answer. Stiltzkin draws you a card only when the hand-off actually succeeds, so do not lead with a harmless gift when you have a real cursed item.
- Pressure: use the wide token package—Akroan Horse, Martial Coup, White Sun’s Zenith, Decree of Justice, Captain of the Watch, and Myr Battlesphere—then amplify it with Intangible Virtue, Glorious Anthem, or Goldnight Commander.
- Stay alive: hold the real removal for the permanent that breaks the game, not every creature. The deck has enough awkward gifts to redirect attacks and buy turns.
- Recover: Late to Dinner and Sanctum Gargoyle get back an actual workhorse; Blacksmith’s Skill and Emerge Unscathed protect Stiltzkin or a finishing board.
What the number means
Live scan — August 4, 2026: $22.30 across all 62 cards; 47 sellers. This is a merchandise floor: the sum of the lowest individually found English CardTrader Zero-eligible copies. A single realistic checkout can be higher because it needs the same cards to remain available at once and then adds Zero’s checkout shipping/service costs, tax, and any chosen condition upgrade. With 47 sellers represented in this floor, do not treat $22.30 as a cart quote. No cart or order has been created.
No physical token singles are priced or required. Make Soldier, Spirit, Pegasus, Myr, and Servo tokens with dice, blank cards, or tokens you already own. The list pays for Magic cards only, so a $2 “official token” does not make a $0.20 spell look cheap on paper.
